I am a self proclaimed Groupon fan. Every day I discover ways to whiten my teeth, relax my tense deltoids with an hour long massage and remove unsightly hair. Realistically, I just buy deals for new restaurants and mini adventures in Chicago.
Through the years though, I screwed up. I bought Groupons that went to waste as the expiration date ticked closer then passed. Money down the drain! (noooooo.)
Then today, per a recommendation from a friend, I called Groupon's customer service department. From what I can tell it is a young, fun group of people who probably don't love being on the phone but do a pretty good job of pretending they don't mind. I spoke with a bubbly girl and explained that "I'm an idiot whom allows perfectly good Groupons to expire." From here I earned one of two options:
1.) Use that Groupon as cash at the business
2.) Refund the amount back to my Groupon account to be used on a future Groupon purchase
Already stated, I am a Groupon fiend and excitedly opted for option number two. Now I possess $73 to spend on a future purchase I may or may not need.
Lesson learned, your money is not lost. Ask the question and you shall receive. I feel as rich as Scrooge McDuck right now, swimming in intangible Groupon credits.

Motivation Pt. 1
I call this post Motivation part one because it's 1:14 a.m. and I don't have nearly enough motivation to finish it. Eleven hour work days are the most unkind and more than a little exhuasting. After tonight, I do highly recommend finishing up any work while sitting in your bed and type-type-typing away. Other than that, there are a few blog posts handwritten but at this point, it is a matter of removing crumpled paper from the bottom of the purse I took to work last Thursday and adding them on here.
Apologies for the lack of blog posts and it is definitely something I noted. To say I am "busy" is an understatement but looking forward to some new ideas and hopefully something fresh. When the only free time of the night on your night is spent eating Pita Pit, watching Teen Mom, and showering then it is time to reobserve your lifestyle. So consider "Motivation Pt. 2," on its way!
Big thanks and hugs to my wonderful roommate who, after seeing me down, suggested that we watch her most recent purchase, "Heavyweights."

"Congratulations Mr. Sims, you are the fattest boy in camp."
